About Us
Purpose
The Clinical Training Center for Family Planning provides training for clinical family planning preceptors. Clinical family planning preceptors ensure that direct care providers in Title X settings apply the most current knowledge and skills necessary for effective delivery of high quality family planning services.
Goal
The goal of the CTCFP is to prepare clinical preceptors to provide education, mentoring and skills assessment of clinical family planning providers.
Objectives
Train and support 270 expert clinical preceptors through a competency-based, standardized curriculum.
Maximize the performance potential of Title X clinicians through access to expert clinical precepting and specialized training.
Create local, regional and national interdisciplinary networks that interact and learn from each other.
Optimize care in family planning settings by applying evidence-based knowledge and skills to facilitate positive client outcomes.Partnerships

Advisory Committees
The Curriculum Advisory Committee provides input and feedback on the development and maintenance of the curriculum.
The Training Operations Advisory Committee is responsible for ensuring smooth and accessible training opportunities for all regions.
The National Clinical Training Conference Planning Committee is working to plan the National Title X Reproductive Health Conference for 2012.
Continuing Education: Preceptor Training

To receive contact hours, participants must submit a request for credit form. Certificates will be e-mailed within 4 weeks of the program.
